About Us
MESA was founded on October 2nd, 1995 as an Autodesk-Authorized MCAD Dealer. We not only sold the Autodesk software, but also offered support and customized training packages for our customers using those products. It was our goal to change the way our clients viewed the Autodesk software, particularly AutoCAD, as not just a way to generate 2D drawings, but as a way to engineer new products. As it remains still, it was also our goal to provide the best possible customer support service that we could.
In 2000, we moved to our current location in Crafton where we began offering customized on-site training for our customers in addition to the monthly classes in our Training Center. We were able to create “virtual classrooms” that could be taken to each site that included laptop computers, a projector, course manuals, and the instructor.
In 2002, we began offering design services along with customer support and training. Some of our services were in 3D design and modeling, visualization and animation, design automation, implementation, best practices training, and design consulting services.
Over the years, we have created, sponsored and hosted various technology events, training days, seminars, road shows, Western PA Inventor User Group, Northeast Ohio Inventor User Group, and more.
